Eight posters featuring EndoFLIP to be presented at DDW 2012 in San Diego

Monday 16th April 2012

This year will see the presentation of eight posters featuring EndoFLIP technology at DDW 2012 in San Diego. The posters highlight the utility of EndoFLIP in assessing treatment efficacy in the management of achalasia. Some early work in the assessment of ano-rectal function using EndoFLIP is presented by Alqudah et al. . Finally, Smeets et al. demonstrate that EndoFLIP can offer a quantitative indicator for flap valve grade, which may help to discern subsets of GERD patients with respect to medical, endoluminal and surgical therapies.

The full list of posters is as follows:

Does EGJ Distensibility Measured by Endoflip Aid in Diagnosis or Follow-up of Achalasia Patients? a Comparison Study With High Resolution Manometry and Timed Barium Esophagogram
Frédéric Nicodème, Annemijn de Ruigh, Yinglian Xiao, Lubomyr Boris, John E. Pandolfino, Peter J. Kahrilas
